Roxie is a tattoo artist, fine artist, and creative entrepreneur based in Hampton, Virginia — recognized as the first Black woman licensed as a professional tattoo artist in the state.

Her practice is a study in contrasts: technical precision and emotional generosity, fine-art discipline and street-level honesty. She has spent over a decade building a body of work that treats every client as a collaborator and every piece as a permanent gesture.

Beyond the needle, she designs, paints, prints, teaches, hosts creative experiences, and mentors emerging artists — proving that ink is only one of the many languages she speaks fluently.

Specializing in color on all skin tones, paper, and canvas. Adding mural artist to her resume.. her aim is directed towards a legacy as a painter alongside of tattoos. She has never done any of this for attention, this is all for ascension.
